Starring a fun prosthetic creature, Hungry is not here for a long time or a good time. Hippos, you had your chance and you blew it. Bring on the violent vole movies.

This animal-attack horror plugs a gap with beasties -- hippopotamuses -- that may be deadly in real life but are hard to take seriously as a threat on screen.

Hungry forgoes the silliness and becomes an intense animal attack survival horror that can stand alongside the likes of Deep Blue Sea, Rogue, and Crawl.

Worst of all, the computer-generated hippo never feels like a credible threat, not least because it actually looks quite cute...

Super fun horror movie about a killer hippo. Not calling this movie “Hungry Hungry” was a huge missed opportunity.

Yes the movie is bad, and to make things worse the title "Hungry" has nothing to do with the script or plot. The hippo isnt hungry, it is either simply mean, doesnt like people, or defending its little one.

A movie about some people who go on a gator tour in the Louisiana Bayou. I know the movie would be crap when the cast the owner of the tour company and tbe boat operator with foreign actors. I true authentic Cajun character would have been nice. Anyway the movie is good background movie while your preoccupied scrolling through Instagram.
