This is the performance of Cruise's career. In Jerry Maguire he has found a part exploits the showboating swagger of his earlier roles, and also finds something deeper -- the still beating heart beneath the corporate bluster. Go to Full Review

Jerry still isn't sure how to be a human being -- at least in the beginning and the middle of the film. And watching Cruise's character evolve -- yet keep his sense of humor -- is what makes this film so much fun. Go to Full Review

Again and again, as you watch Jerry fight several kinds of loserdom that seem ever ready to devour him, you're aware of watching ground that's been gone over before, but not with as much freshness and point as Crowe brings to it. Go to Full Review

Jerry Maguire implies that happiness can come from situations that merely border on love -- that is, sometimes it's more important to like someone than it is to totally surrender yourself to stereotypical expectations. Go to Full Review

Jerry Maguire gives it clients 110 percent, like any good agent. And it does exactly what Rod wants Jerry to do: It shows us the money. Go to Full Review

15 minutes [too long] is a small price to pay for intelligent and astute adult entertainment these days. Jerry Maguire not only shows us the money, it shows us a good time. Go to Full Review

Steve B @RT03063078 3d This one should have gotten the Best Picture Oscar, rather than "The English Patient", which no one remembers. Stellar work by Gooding, Zellweger and, of course, Maverick. A great, uplifting, feel-good story of love and sports. The quotes from the movie that have become popular culture - "Show me the money", "You complete me" and, of course "You had me at hello." Did that for good reason. Top 50 all-time for sure. Probably higher, depending on your stance on romances. See more Thyaagu C @Thyaagu 5d Went in blind for Cruise and Renée, and got heart, humor, charm, and pure satisfaction - a complete package in return! See more Ava S @avawatches Mar 1 Jerry Maguire makes strong use of its talented cast, but a tonally awkward script juggling multiple subplots and genres leaves it feeling like two competing movies, even if its sharper insights on love still ring true. See more Justin K. @bootsyandbbyratemoofies27 Feb 23 SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!! See more Kai T. @thewritingkai Jan 29 Movie had alot of emotion, which is definitely needed. It was nice for Jerry to have a relapse on his own life. Although, majority of this movie was more Romance than romance/comedy, but there were some funny parts, just wished there was a little more. I also didn't like the narration of jerry's wife. her character seemed like she was normalized, as the 9-5 day to day worker in the beginning of the movie, which i found odd that she didnt have a part time job or any sort of occupancy during the times she was at her home. Overall solid movie. See more Leonard F @ljf1017 Jan 27 I thought it was good. A love story weaved around two alpha males finally figuring out what's really important. Cuba Gooding is perfect as the self-centered WR who is all about money. I think this is one of Tom Cruise's deeper performances as he goes from on top, to losing his job and having only one client. He almost loses all his marbles several times, and then at the very end finally realizes waht is important See more Read all reviews
