Both films combined gift Uma Thurman the role of her career and, for the first film, she received BAFTA and Golden Globe nominations for Best Actress...she was not recognized by the Academy, which is absurd, in retrospect.

one of quentin tarantino's best works and my favorite films of all time that is a cinematic masterpiece I could watch it over and over again and it would still feel like the first time all over again cause it's just that good every choreo fight scene was so beautifully shot and outstanding it's so epic and every fight was so awesome also Uma Thurman the original girlboss taking down all of the crazy 88. I could honestly write a whole essay about how much i love this film everything about it is just perfect.

Kill Bill merupakan sebuah film revenge yang punya pendekatan episodik. Alih alih membuat cerita balas dendam besar kita malah diajak mengenal siapa target yang akan dibunuh secara satu persatu. Cerita episodik membuat kita mengenali siapa target yang diincar dan bagaimana kehidupan mereka setelah kejadian yang telah terjadi. Adegan aksi yang seru dengan shot cinematic, siluet, hingga animasi untuk backstory, membuat karakter dalam film ini terasa ikonik sehingga film ini sangat solid untuk ditonton. Terlebih lagi film ini memberi daya tariknya sendiri dengan karakter perempuan yang menjadi karakter utama di saat dominasi oleh laki-laki.
