TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch 2 days ago Killer Unicorn is an uncomfortable film that relies on stereotypes about the LGBTQ+ community. The story centers on drag performers and gay men, presenting a world dominated by drugs, sex, and violence. These characterizations feel narrow and misleading rather than offering thoughtful representation. The screenplay struggles to offer anything beyond shock value. The acting is extremely weak, making it difficult to become invested in the characters. Instead of building suspense, the film leans on provocative situations that quickly become tiresome. It feels more interested in getting a reaction than telling a compelling horror story. Ultimately, Killer Unicorn confuses being provocative with being entertaining. Controversial subjects can make compelling cinema, but they need purpose and meaningful storytelling. This film never finds that balance. Between the weak performances, questionable characterization, and underdeveloped screenplay, I cannot recommend it. See more

Tripp W @Tr799 Oct 24, 2026 This movie had potential but the idea of a sexed dude in a unicorn mask killing gay people while also being gay dosnt make sense it’s a piece of horse shit it’s disqusting the poster makes it look ok but it’s so gay and sexualized it’s worse then aquaslash this movie is jsut a gay porn for 80 percent of the movie the only reason I give it half star because of the mask I’m a fan of masks See more

Heloisa B @RT77300325 Jan 4, 2025 The acting is terrible, the script is weak, and nothing makes sense. A killer dressed as a hot unicorn? Seriously? Horrible movie. See more

Elijah K @RT46319876 Dec 30, 2024 I love it. The way they take something so peaceful and make a great movie about unicorns. So good See more

jerry f @JFagundo Feb 22, 2022 Plot is bad, acting is awful. Is an example of what a low budget movie is. See more

Aug 23, 2020 A serial killer dressed as a hot unicorn strikes horror in West Hollywood when he targets a group of friends. It's a fairly generic setup with a queer twist. The acting is not great but the movie is surprisingly fun with some cool kills. The movie obviously struggles with budgetary constraints but makes good on what it has which includes a super campy and fun villain. 6.5/10 See more
