Cécile (Catherine Deneuve) dumped her first love, Antoine (Gérard Depardieu), over three decades ago, but Antoine was never able to move on. He eventually resolves to track her down, a quest that leads him to Tangiers, Morocco. Sarah is now a successful radio show host — not to mention married to Natan (Gilbert Melki). Here, the times are changing and so is the plot. In fact, you can expect a mood swing every five minutes, in a story so muddled even the strong cast, including Gerard Depardieu and Catherine Deneuve, can't save it. Go to Full Review Kam Williams Upstage Magazine Jul 7, 2007

This poignant, flashback flick, is worthwhile for the opportunity to see a couple of seasoned pros, its very well-acquainted leads, Oscar-nominees Gerard Depardieu and Catherine Deneuve, opposite each other again, for the seventh time in their careers. Nov 1, 2020 Touching performances by Deneuve and Depardieu given a tepid and mildly interesting qand unique storyline See more Jan 2, 2014 This film worth a viewing for the fact it reunites two monsters of the French cinema. Gerard Depardieu & Catherine Deneuve are incredibly well directed in this little film about two lovers crossing path again after more than twenty years of separation. See more May 31, 2012 A thoughtful movie that lives up to its title. Nathan (quietly, but wonderfully played by Gilbert Melki) is at the center of the film's changes. His longtime wife (Catherine Deneuve, beautifully aged) has her first love Antoine (Gerard Depardieu) come to Tangiers seeking her back; she has never loved Nathan as she loved Antoine. His son, Sami (Malik Zidi) comes home with his girlfriend Nadia (Lubna Axabal) and her son, Said. Nathan spends time with the boy who seems distant from his mother and Sami. Nadia is estranged from her twin sister Aicha (also played by Lubna Axabal) who is traditionally Islamic and can't accept Nadia new life in France. Sami is never home, but secretly spends time with his lover Bilal. As the movie unfolds, Nathan's life is overturned in unexpected ways, ways that only the Changing Times make possible. An exploration of love, choices, and new horizons in our Changing Times. The cast is uniformly wonderful.. Lubna Axabal has a tour de force as both Nadia and Aicha evolve through the film.
