It is definitely cliche and on the nose at times, but the plot is cohesive and tells not a challenging story but a good one, that you can’t rely on others to love and that you must love yourself first. Some of the jokes stretch on a bit too long but they don’t throw off the pace too much. The voice acting is nice and the songs aren’t bad. Save 2 hours of your life for something else See more Dexter F @RT35560633 1d i made an account just for this. its very funny as a gay person to say that i enjoyed the straight white maliens more than the actual main characters. horrible representation, characters have no flavor at all and the plot moves way too slow. which is why im guessing that the movie ends off without an actual lesson. this is a prime example of when you try to be a raunchy adult comedy and you just end up being raunchy. so basically: boring characters, horrible character designs, horrible art style and stupid plot. One of my favorite things about it is how confidently it centers a lesbian love story without making the characters feel defined solely by their sexuality. They are allowed to be complicated, emotional, funny, flawed, and deeply human. The romance gives the story a strong emotional core, while the ridiculous situations and surreal world keep everything entertaining. The animation is also fantastic, with a distinctive visual style that perfectly matches the film's chaotic energy and playful sense of humor.
