Critics Consensus

While Jim Carrey's comedic skills earn some laughs, Me, Myself and Irene sports a tired, unsatisfying plot.

Me, Myself & Irene isn't nasty, but the aftertaste is hollow. The brothers are straining this time.

Peter and Bob Farrelly better slow down. At the rate they're going, they're bound to run out of material pretty soon.

As highly talented as Carrey is, he can't make these abrupt physical and mental transitions the least bit convincing.

Carrey goes all out and almost manages to carry the whole thing by himself, but this is one of the Farrelly brothers' most weak, flat and disappointing scripts so far. [Full review in Spanish]

Me, Myself & Irene would've fared much, much better had it topped out at 90 minutes.

It hasn’t aged at all well. Carey is the only actor who could play this part. It’s original but not the best. Watched on DVD.

One of the greatest comedies of All-time. Jim Carrey delivers hilarious line after line. The grocery store scene is bar far the best. For this movie to be rated so low is ludicrous. Tim Treakle

I think if people can't laugh at this film after multiple viewings they have a problem with their particular funny bone. Renee does a great job as the straight person and Jim Carrey does his usual great job playing Charlie And Hank. One of the standouts is the albino "Whitey" in his first film and he plays his role just right. I dare you not to laugh at this film..

Carrey and Zellwegger are decent together, but they don't have enough comedy to make this thing float past some of the nasty it tries to accomplish.
