Kay and Jay reunite to provide our best line of defense against a seductress who levels the toughest challenge yet to the MIB's mission statement: protecting the earth from the scum of the universe. While investigating a routine crime, Jay uncovers a plot masterminded by Serleena, a Kylothian monster who disguises herself as a lingerie model. And film afficionados everywhere will not be lost on some inside jokes and cameos- the funniest of which revolves around some cheesy special effects with wires and tin foil which has Agent Jay commenting that it 'looks like Spielberg's work'.

Funny film. Sure maybe not as good as the first one but when is a sequel (except Godfather Part II lol). This movie is a laugh a minute in my opinion if you take off your movie critic hat, get off your high horse and let yourself along for the ride.

Oof, in watching the Jones/Smith trilogy you could completely skip this movie and nothing would change the feelings towards the 3rd or the characters or the world at large. Graphics get worse. Characters are flatter. Still watch to see more creatures and a few clever set pieces.

This is nowhere near as memorable as the first film, if this had been the first film then I don’t think they would have made any more. Strangely the music doesn’t always feel appropriate for the scene and is too often out-of-place. The special effects are worse, especially the worm subway opening debacle. They only had one joke throughout, which was to wipe someone’s memory and then make up a stupid new one. It passes the time and isn’t totally bad, there are some entertaining moments that just about offset all the bad bits to make this very average. The story is quite badly written, it’s just a rehash of the first film but with the first half dedicated to resetting the previous ending. I’m making a bold prediction that it’s not worth watching past the first film.
