It captures the power of Metallica’s performance in a way that really pulls you in, while also giving the whole movie a visual style that makes it stand out. Even if you are just there for the music, it keeps the energy high and never feels dull. What makes it work so well is how it blends atmosphere, intensity, and pure performance into something that feels bigger than a standard live release. It is a strong showcase for the band and a memorable watch overall. For me, it is an easy 8/10. It was viewed only during night, last slot for the movie cieters. I was a student and have to return back to the dorm hell knows how (it was way too late for the public transport). But I can't forget the live concert feeling for only a cost of a local movie thieter ticket. The film itself is so-so technically, multichannel sound mix is also not quite different from a stereo, computer effects are noticeably low resolution. Though, they get the grip on a live concert feeling which holds you throughout the movie. And rocking chears in the theater, never thought they can do that, but chairs were rocking in rythm till the wery end. It's a pitty for me it's not a commercial success, but I definitely recommend this film for all who appreciate a good live rock concert. See more 02/27/2021 Through the never has outstanding performances from all the members James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett & Robert Trujillo, amazing film of excitement and tons of creepy scenes with an invincible horsemen, many scenes reference songs and I was disappointed that they did not play Master Of Puppets when the people are hanging from the street lights, Battery was a perfect timing and so was Enter Sandman.
