Based on a story by famed science fiction writer Philip K. Dick, "Minority Report" is an action-detective thriller set in Washington D.C. in 2054, where police utilize a psychic technology to arrest and convict murderers before they commit their crime. Tom Cruise plays the head of this Precrime unit and is himself accused of the future murder of a man he hasn't even met.

Minority Report does offer a few issues to ponder, and given the mindlessness of most summer action specials, it’s something of an intellectual feast, even if it’s all hors d’oeuvres.

I am generally not a fan of sci fi movies, but this one was good. And Tom Cruise’s performance was stellar. The action, direction, script, and storyline were amazing. The only criticisms I have are the almost too fast pace and the intensity of the futurism. It was definitely a bit complicated to follow at times. But Cruise and the action made it worth it.

This movie was astounding! Another slam dunk from Steven Spielberg! The story was incredibly intense and gripping, leaving me trying to put the pieces together as the story progressed. The visuals were beautiful, and there were so many epic action sequences that made this movie so much fun to watch. I definitely recommend this for sci-fi, action, thriller, and crime fans!

Had never seen this due to having kids at that time. Not a sci fan generally, but this was far better than I expected, engrossing, sort of Blade Runner meets Mission Impossible, with a younger Tom Cruise just acting instead of peacocking about on both sides of the camera.

If you didn't think this movie is a masterpiece, you suck. Stephen Spielberg, Tom Cruise, inspired by Philip K Dick, this is perfect. The ending was mind bending.

Basically I liked the movie we watched it in my senior year of highschool ELA class during the 2022-23 academic year and gave my friend an oversimplified version of the ending because he missed out on it here’s what I said: the main character is taken and gets his clothes taken off and his head shaved basically turning him into a naked caillou and putting him inside a tube and soon after his girlfriend rescues him hand him a darthvader cloak turning him into darthvader caillou and darthvader caillou confronts the main villain who some old dude the old dude kill’s himself and that’s the ending.
