Mission:Impossible- Rogue Nation is the fifth film in this series, and I was a little worried that we may be running out of ideas by this point, but this movie proved me wrong and shows that the franchise is still moving full steam ahead and coming up with new ideas. The idea of a hidden terrorist group as the antagonists is very intriguing and refreshing. All the villains are cool and more interesting than the ones in Ghost Protocol. The cast is great. All of the returning characters are great, and so are the new ones. Rebecca Ferguson and Alec Baldwin are both welcome additions and add a lot to the story. One of my complaints, though, is the missing character from the last movie. They make it clear at the end of Ghost Protocol that Jane is going to stay with the group, but give no explanation for her absence in this movie. But that's a minor issue in an otherwise great movie. The action scenes are also very great in this movie. There's a reason the "catching a plane scene" is iconic.

Rogue Nation is yet another great entry in the Mission Impossible franchise just as thrilling as the other films and that’s all I could say. As long as it’s entertaining and suspenseful, I am having a good time.

Ever Since Mission: Impossible III these movie have really found their niche and became incredible spectacles to watch. I absolutely adored III, but it was the villain that really made it click for me. Rogue Nation follows suit with a really good villain, though not quite as memorable. The action in these films is top notch.
