In the year 2077, Jack Harper works as a security repairman on an Earth left empty and devastated after a war with aliens. Jack has two weeks left before his mission ends, and he joins his fellow survivors on a faraway colony. However, Jack's concept of reality comes crashing down after he rescues a beautiful stranger from a downed spacecraft. The woman's arrival triggers a chain of events that culminates in Jack's nearly single-handed battle to save mankind.

This is one of those rare Sci-Fi adventures that builds a believable world where the truth is slowly revealed to both the characters and audience simultaneously. Gorgeous cinematography, immersive set pieces, seamless CGI. Haunting, evocative soundtrack. There's plenty of action, but it reaches for more- and attains it. A rare gem that merits multiple viewings.

It’s not perfect as lots of other comments will Suggest. It is a great concept and lush cinematography. Cruise is excellent. A very enjoyable movie I’ve seen several Times. Def worth a watch.

I love this movie. The world it creates is spectacular and breathtaking. The story it tells isn't perfect, but it is very good. One of my favorite sci-fi's, coming from a guy who watches a lot of them.

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom

Another one to ignore the critics on. Criminally underrated. Beautiful product. Superb soundtrack with one of the best closing songs around that hits hard after the ending [ by French group M23]. And a self affirmative ending the characters deserved.
