Martyn J @RT19655276 Apr 27, 2026 More or less total drivel, the British Army did not have Thompson machine guns at the time and the Sten gun was not produced until a year later. The British uniforms were a joke, the helmets were US helmets, the Nazi uniforms were like a selection in a military museum. Don’t waste your time watching this rubbish! See more

Stuart G @RT34498892 Oct 12, 2025 Possibly, no, definitely the worst war film I’ve watched. The para uniforms before the regiment existed, the Willys jeep (with a white star on the side and no smoking sticker on the dash) wasn’t available to the British Army during Dunkirk, the awful accents, the scowling, crouching German soldiers, were all quite comical - but less accurate than Allo Allo. Sarah B @RT39793736 Sep 28, 2025 If you see the funny side of the scenery, uniforms and acting it raised a chuckle or 2 :) 😀 the films on amazon are getting worse See more

Ian W @RT40919311 Jun 4, 2025 A group of friends make a movie with their mates from the co-op and the local building society and borrow some outfits. It turned out so bad that they moved to Spain and are in hiding. See more

Keith B @RT70215539 Jan 29, 2025 What a load of crap, they obviously didn't do much research. The Parachute Regiment didn't exist until 1942,why are the main characters wearing the Red Beret with the Cap Badge? Sherman Tanks? The Tommy Helmets with the 'netting camouflage? ...... See more

Nov 1, 2021 Films this poor need to be funny, intentionally or not. Operation Dunkirk can't even manage this. It has the look and feel of a film made using another films props when the grown ups had finished for the day. The cinematography and the editing are solid, but the plot and dialogue are worthy only of derision. See more
