Even without the great horror novel it’s based on, Other Mommy is plagued with a host of problems. It’s goofy in all the wrong ways, puts its only good scare in the trailer, and flubs everything else.

It had a lot of potential with an interesting premise, but not executed well. The acting was great. What was disappointing was there were a couple creepy scenes featured in trailers that didn't even show in the actual movie.
