Peggy Sue Bodell (Kathleen Turner) attends her 25-year high school reunion after separating from her cheating husband, Charlie (Nicolas Cage). She regrets the decisions she has made in her life, such as getting pregnant by Charlie in high school. When she faints at the reunion, she awakens in 1960. Given the chance to relive her life, she changes many things. However, some choices are more complicated, as she begins to see young Charlie's charm and true feelings.

Although the premise is entertaining and the actors are likable, Peggy Sue Got Married squanders the opportunity to make its story more meaningful. What could have been a genuinely heartwarming reflection on accepting the choices we’ve made or finding the courage to change our destiny, becomes little more than a carousel of ’60s music, costumes, and nostalgia.

Peggy Sue Got Married is one of my favourite films. I picked this movie from a pile of videotapes given to me to choose from when I was 11 years old in hospital about to get major surgery which was a success in the end. I watched it about 20 times easily. Kathleen Turners performance is stellar, her characters emotional scenes especially stand out, the film was shot with such warmth and reality, top notch directing right here and it still has me glued to the screen the many few times I’ve watched since those days and coincidentally takes me back to being 11 every time. I highly recommend to anyone who hasn’t seen this beauty.

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom

This is my all tome favorite movie. Its a great watch for anyone that likes movies that are classics. It's not a classic per say. It's more of a time travel film. Just fun.
