This promising debut, however wrought from such fair-weather providence with its creative team, has too shaggy a screenplay and seems distracted, like Alejandro, by its own impulses.

Alejandro isn’t the kind of bad-boy who gradually reveals a dark side; he essentially carries a neon “STAY AWAY, I’M BAD NEWS” sign for the entire film.

Pet Shop Days is a cool, carefree movie where no one has to love or get attached to anyone. It’s a drug-hazed, kaleidoscopic escapade into the darkness of the merciless city.

In spite of its flaws, it is a pretty well-crafted piece of work that is undoubtedly entertaining. A Gen Z bisexual Bonnie and Clyde story—kind of.

A crime cocktail so bland and uninspired (despite being heavily inspired) that all it makes you want to do is press charges against those who served it.

Nepotism at its ripest: The arrogance and pomp allowed Julien Schnabels boy .. to coerce A listers for this disjointed gratuitously violent, silly charade of a film.... Only fun note seeing Grace Brennans ( see Phony coming out on Hulu spring 2026 ) debut and the only decent actress not engaged in some poop scene or over the top sex/ violence ...even Dafoe was cringe, portraying lecherous Dad Absolutely mortifying to watch and was majority of performance. Yuck. Except for Grace Brennan.
