These aren’t kitchen-sink movies; they’re garbage disposal rejects, alloys composed of leftover scraps. And the viewers who are supposed to see themselves in these tough-as-nails characters deserve better.

It runs mostly through the motions, decrescendoing after every kill into a cyclical thrill ride. Avoiding spoilers, the sequel only veers in a new direction toward the end, but this twist comes after the story flatlines.

Ready or Not 2 continues the light-hearted, bloody humor of the first film, anchored by a committed performance from Weaving. Themes of a world controlled by the ultra-wealthy have only become more relevant in the 6 years since the original’s release.

The only reason it lost half a star is because of the predictability, but anyone who has seen the first installment will be forgiving. Other than that, a stellar film!

When I first came across Ready Or Not, and saw it. I was quite surprised to how good it was, and was excited for this squeal. It's a fun, gore, comedy feast, that really lives up to the first one. I highly recommend checking this out if you haven't already seen the First one.

Enjoyed the first one and think the main character does a great job. The sister relationship could be stronger in this movie. Don’t need to casually argue about your past while your life is on the line. Still a fun watch!
