The performances by the lead actresses are also excellent and well-directed. The film’s weak point is the screenplay, which fails to strike the right balance between realism and symbolism; while both elements work well in isolation, the abrupt ending leaves the reason for this disconnect unclear. Why are the characters not calling for help when they could've?the characters survival skill is like a dodo bird. Instead of being scared while watching it with my friends we were stressing and feeling frustrated for how the characters can't immediately think while in danger.
