When a beautiful first-grade teacher (Olivia Williams) arrives at a prep school, she soon attracts the attention of an ambitious teenager named Max (Jason Schwartzman), who quickly falls in love with her. Max turns to the father (Bill Murray) of two of his schoolmates for advice on how to woo the teacher. However, the situation soon gets complicated when Max's new friend becomes involved with her, setting the two pals against one another in a war for her attention.

My favorite movie of all time (for personal reasons). I think the characters the acting and the plot all moves along nice. I have watched it over 1000 times so I have "some" critiques of it, but that's not stuff I thought in the first watch of it, or first 100 maybe even. I love the growth of the main character in a short time and I really love the scenes that make you just laugh every time you see them. Magnus is one of the funniest characters written and the little feud with max and Mr.Herman was really funny of course. I would say more, but its a movie that's best watched with 0 spoilers and just the story as its told.
