Same Kind of Different as Me is the cinematic equivalent of taking what feels like an enormous, deeply satisfying dump, only to stand up and discover one inexplicably tiny turd in the toilet. You know more happened. The evidence says more happened. Yet there is nothing there. Two hours of emotional constipation, followed by confusion.

This is a great movie you have to watch every second other wise you miss important moments actors were brilliant and played there parts to a Tee .

Very emotional movie. It had some moments where the delivery could have been better, and it never really went too deep into some subjects, but it was a good watch and left me feeling good about mankind. We all know we need some of that these days.

This is a beautiful, uplifting, encouraging movie. It has made me want to reach out to others with more love and time and a listening ear. I don't understand why some reviewers are so cynical. There IS beauty in this world, and there IS kindness in this world. There ARE people of all races who reach out their hands to others of other colors and become friends. Watch this movie with an open heart and mind, and it will touch you.
