Ludwig L @Ludwig458 Apr 4 The entire film—actors and filmmakers alike—seems to consist entirely of women; the only hapless fool in need of help is, as is typical of the current zeitgeist, a man, who is of course then rescued by a tough woman. I didn’t have high expectations for a Pure Flix film to begin with, but I didn’t expect to find such blatant feminist extremism there either. Real men are rare in Christian circles. They tend to be soft-spoken, nice creatures. That makes it all the more important to do positive, constructive work on this topic. The exact opposite is the case. Even one star is too many. Characters are boring, plot is boring. It's just all bleh. I've seen worse movies, but I don't think this deserves higher than a 3 out of 10 because of how boring it is. The acting is on the wrong side of average, and the story is so conventional and straightforward that there are absolutely no surprises. I even knew who the homeless person at the end was.
