Critics Consensus

Scoob! is fun enough for youthful viewers and some hardcore fans, but never quite solves the mystery of why audiences shouldn't watch old episodes instead.

For a modern reboot, SCOOB! feels instantly dated. And its only contribution to the Scooby-Doo mythos is a thuddingly lame backstory to how he got his name.

From the superhero-like plot to the lack of a central mystery, Tony Cervone finds himself in a writing mess (four screenwriters and three "story by" credits) from a company ashamed of its own product.

A children's movie to keep kids glued to the screen; on the superficial side of the genre, SCOOB! is pleasant enough with its gags and jokes... though not a lot of meat on its bones. [Full review in Spanish]
