This is definitely watchable starting with the apt reference to Hiroshima mon amour in the beginning. In terms of characterising the behavior of the protagonist, she shows the maturity of a twelve year old girl. Not a single mother educator who teaches literature. It’s not clear at all why she falls for the heavily tattooed Putin agent. Also unlikely is the ending when she finally sees the light. Based on her previous actions she could have very well committed suicide when she realized that the romance was over. Laetitia Dosch is really good. Excellent Francoamerican song selection. When he calls her his love at the very end, it all becomes crystal clear how symbiotic and profound their connection truly was. This movie is not about a mere love affair but more an ode to the power of transcendence in passionate souls. See more richie v 11/04/2023 HE VISTO MÁS EL PENE DE SERGEI POLUNIN QUE EL MÍO Veo muchas parejas en la sala y no se si es bueno o malo, lo que sí que sé, es que no va a ser una experiencia muy agradable para mí, tampoco estoy en el infierno, pero por culpa de mi alto ego no puedo soportar ver amor sin tenerlo yo. Tampoco puedo soportar ver una película con tan mala calidad. No sé sí ha sido fallo de producción o un error de proyección en el cine. Pero quizá no sea tan mala de cómo me ha afectado a mí, no odio los dramas amorosos, es más, los adoro, mi ego no actúa de mala manera con el cine amoroso, es lógico. Ya es complicado hacer innovaciones en éste género pero no es tan difícil hacer algo un poco más diferente o mejor que la fallida saga de After o Cincuenta Sombras de Grey. Ella, Hélene (Laeitita Dosch), me gusta, no exageradamente, pero es agradable, mientras tanto, este hombre, Alexandr (Sergei Polunin), si no recuerdo mal su nombre (preferiría no recordarlo), aquí me resulta demasiado cargante, un tío muy sensual y fibroso. Pero él le resta mucha química a la pareja, a veces sobreactuado malamente, otras con falta de sentimentalismo, lo expresa, pero no lo suficiente. Sin embargo, en los repetitivos y algunos aburridos momentos de sexo, aciertan de pleno en algunas emociones. Pero me cansa ver lo mismo escena por escena, hubiera preferido la misma historia pero Hélene contándolo desde el futuro, cómo si ya hubiera pasado todo, cómo en el principio contando lo de Oporto. Su guión y fotografía no son para nada memorables pero tampoco demasiado malos, o cliché, porque las secuencias filosóficas, reflexivas, lo salvan. A veces puede ser mejor no adaptar libros a la gran pantalla y dejarlos que envejezcan por sí solos. Passion Simple me recuerda al porno, cómo muchas otras historias, algunas buenas, otras no tanto. Y para que me recuerde al porno, prefiero acudir a él directamente, puede que en algún futuro me coma mis palabras y existan películas similares y me gusten.
