Jim T @jimbot Jun 26 I enjoyed it. Honestly I thought it was going to be rubbish and given a different cast I think it would have been. It is full of great actors though which pulled it through and made is very watchable and enjoyable. Clearly, judging by the locations, relatively quite low budget - which is fine. Essentially it's The Full Monty under water and without Tom Jones. Cliched? Yes. But at times quite touching and I did love that the Swedish men's team that inspired the story featured in it. I’ve seen it multiple times, and each time is heartwarming and entertaining and touching. I’ve come to really appreciate these British movies that are about real human beings and feel set in the real world. This movie is proof that you don’t need a huge budget or fancy CGI to make something meaningful. Brings big budget movies to shame. Fast and furious fans should stay away from this movie and from rating it as well. No car chases or inexplicable human strength necessary to create a story that sticks with you.
