Tadeo and Sara are now the parents of Olimpia (Oli), an adorable and intrepid two-year-old girl. And Momia isn't taking it well at all that he's no longer the center of attention. While on vacation in London, Sara tracks down a unique object: the magical lamp from *One Thousand and One Nights*. And Momia, consumed by jealousy, makes a wish: to travel back in time to when he was young and everyone loved him. Tadeo and Sara must join forces to prevent Momia from changing the course of history and bring the group--including Jeff, Belzoni, and Ramona--back home. This new adventure will take them across the Atlantic Ocean from the mythical lost city of Paititi to Greece, and from there to the heart of the Middle East, all the way to the very cave of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves.

It is possibly one of the best films in the saga because it understands that Tad's most valuable treasure is no longer underground. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

The closest thing to a Mel Brooks for kids, as close to Quarter to Two Before Jesus Christ as it is to Year One. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Tad and the Magic Lamp surprisingly holds its own, delivering a fun adventure that takes us across the globe, filled with clever historical references and cameos, and a few surprises thanks to its emphasis on fantasy and magic. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

In short, there are enough attractions to keep kids entertained, and its blend of time travel, culture, art, and human history...is particularly effective. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Jazmyne 1 day ago adult and kid friendly See more Henri Oct 27, 2026 Good movies See more Ian M @RT16483321 Oct 16, 2026 Eh, I've seen all the Tad movies and honestly they are enjoyable even this one. I can't help but not like Tad as a character though and this completely throws off any meaning behind his actions in the end for me. On topic of the ending, that is the problem though. The location of the lamp seems to contradict itself, the characters have a sudden resolve when they essentially don't know what happened. I can see what they tried to achieve with this ending but unfortunately I think it flopped and leaves many plot holes. I'm being quite critical of the movie though, I can see this being enjoyable for your children it's a standard experience, not amazing but not terrible. If you're looking for a solid story as an adult who enjoys animation though, this will not be a memorable movie for you. See more jethro R @RT02943679 Oct 16, 2026 Its absolute very good, and I like it, I almost cry onto the near end See more Giorgio G @GioBlob Oct 9, 2026 Well, I surely liked the first two "Tad" movies, but this 4th act of the franchise is very pale in comparison. Very few hilarious scenes, the best being the chariot transformation in "Mad Max" style. It's still nice, with the same good visuals, but the mummy jokes and attitude have already been milked too much and don't cause any laughter anymore. Only Tad's goofiness continues to bring out a few giggles. All in all it's a far cry from the earlier editions. 4/10 points.
