But, this is the purpose, to highlight the principles that allow us to evolve into the next level/dimension. I found it interesting and, at times, fascinating. The movie leaves you with an uplifting feeling. See more 07/02/2019 This is a non-Hollywood independent film controlled by the original author to prevent the message from being warped. An accurate adaptation of James Redfield's classic novel would be very long and bogged down with heavy dialogue scenes, so they chose not to do that. The movie distills the true essence of the Celestine Insights to very basic form - I think at least one insight was only one or two sentences in the film. This is the bare bones introduction for people who just won't read the book. If those people like the ideas in the movie, they may be more inspired to read it after watching the film. If you have read the novel but it's been a while, then this movie will serve as a good refresher of the insights but leave you thirsty for more, a thirst that can only be quenched by rereading the original novel. The movie is a tad revisionist in a good way - It makes some actual improvements to the plot that either occurred to the author after publishing the book or came from suggestions of others. But the framework for the Insights from the original novel shine through. Trust your synchronicity!
