Their were lots of behind the scenes issues and problems on set with a co-director who was fired halfway through production and contributed the worst parts of the story to the screenplay, so we had that working against us. But I believe for what we had to work with and the extreme budget limitations, we did a really good job. We fixed those issues when production began on the sequel THE OMICRON KILLER, and it shows. See more Brock C @RT53474504 06/06/2023 Personally I thought it was a somewhat cliché concept, but I enjoyed the way it was executed. The characters weren't completely clueless and I didn't find myself wanting to strangle characters for dumb decisions. It had decent jump scares and a good amount of them. It gets dark before jump scares so they're kind of predictable but it lets my imagination go crazy. There are definitely moments where common sense could be applied but I guess that's what makes a movie a movie. Overall though it was Great and I would definately watch it again. See more Shadow F @RT80898960 01/08/2023 The fact that this film was made during the pandemic and obviously highly curtailed because of financial support or lack there of it, this film is really good. There are so many Easter eggs in this film and it goes without saying it touched on so many topics that really happened that it was a believable film. Some of the acting was less than average and some painful at times to watch yet the films twists outweigh what it lacked in acting ability. It isnt a political film as many "critics" have mentioned which shows they didnt watch the film but took the title and just spouted out their agenda. The music score could have been a lot better but again recognizing when this was made during a time where most of the world wasnt doing anything says a lot for the courages attempt to make a movie when others were too scared to do anything but sit home. You can see where the film changed from a generic who dun it thriller to a more creepy and finessed horror film and the direction and cinematography correction is obvious. So they must have fired the original person and brought on a more refine creator to fix the problems that were obvious and saved this film from being a disaster artist sequel. I was expecting just a little low budget horror flick to pass the time but what I got was a great independent film with a story that I can't wait to see more of. i don't want to spoil the film but it ends on a cliffhanger, and stay for the credits. It's like Jason voorhees meets the pandemic. See more 07/20/2022 Honestly this movie was pretty solid in my opinion. Sure there are moments that are WTF but overall, the aesthetic and plot are intriguing and nostalgic. If you're wanting to watch a movie that has a spooky slasher vibe plus a decent amount of comedy and drama, I would say this is a good movie to go to. I honestly loved it so much. The whole story is so amazing and captivating. It reminded me of the first Friday the 13th and the first Halloween combined. Most definitely need this in your life. I loved everything about it. Would definitely love seeing more of these characters in this world. This is going to be a big franchise. See more Read all reviews
