In 1977, PK, a 23-year-old Delhi street artist from a poor, 'untouchable' family, picked up a handful of paintbrushes and a second-hand bicycle and set off on a 6000-mile cross-continent mission -- to find Lotta, the woman who had captured his heart. A love story like no other, THE CYCLE OF LOVE is an inspiring, heart-warming, epic true-life adventure about the search for self-belief and risking everything for what your heart tells you.

Some viewers might find it too much, too sweet -- but abandon yourself to this nostalgic evocation of a lost era and it's hard not to fall in love. Go to Full Review

Mahanandia is the perfect documentary subject — a man so proud of his story, he’ll tell it to anyone who will listen. He’s wildly charismatic, and it’s easy to hang on his every word. Go to Full Review

Paul A @Apocalypse_Meow 1 day ago An absolute pleasure to watch. Love can conquer anything. This goes way beyond the bicycle ride, it’s a true depiction of what humans are capable of doing when they’re convinced of the righteousness of their desires. See more Tarika G @Tarix 3 days ago Absolutely touching and inspiring look at love that knows no borders. Hard to think of anything else for a few hours after seeing it. See more Brian W @Mr.CAFilmBuffs Sep 25, 2026 Heart warming true story. Although a documentary, it has a very engaging flow. See more Loves V @RT14109267 Sep 24, 2026 Thoroughly enjoyable, surprisingly so. Heard the producer/director and actor and cinematographer speak following the film - so many of the 'actors' in the film were on-the-spot passers-by! Touching, funny, spiritual. Wonderful. See more Morris W @RT40181464 Sep 20, 2026 A warming and romantic true story about two lovers separated by land and sea destined to meet again Beautifully reenacted and dramatised through real characters and highly improvised scenes which just makes the tale so much more authentic. See more Tiggy L @Tiggles Sep 20, 2026 This film lifted me out of a low mood, above and beyond. What a fabulous bit of story telling, and so many of the cast played themselves - a sensory, cinematic treat! Best not to read too much about the story beforehand, just go. You don't have to love bikes like but it was heartening to see how many ankle clips, helmets and pannier bags were brought in to the cinema. So much better than a film about airplanes!
