The Death of Robin Hood manages to be gruelling on multiple levels. Hugh Jackman spends the first, unpleasantly gory half-hour murdering a bunch of people and then agonises for the remaining 90 minutes about his atonement.

The first 30 - 45 minutes are spent making Robin Hood and Little John irredeemable characters. The rest of the runtime is a slow burn until you finally reach credits with little to no payoff.

Meh it was ok as a standalone but if you are going to make Robin Hood an evil character you definitely need to explain it better than this did. If it was just a regular movie I wouldnt be mad at it but the death of Robin hood had perhaps my expectations to high
