Phi S @PhiSchmo Oct 29, 2026 Cut'em a break, the analogue age, no digital tricks here. They assembled a well know cast of actors who would go on to do television and alike(2 actors from M.A.S.H. - see if you can pick them out). I give'em and 'A' for effort, because I just finished binging a lot of 50's Sci-Fi, and they were froth with nothing but stock footage of rocketry and bad Nuclear public school P.S.A.s. This production company seems to have paid for an extensive crew of people behind the scenes, as well(set construction, photography coordinators, special effects for 2 separate departments, and a large body of extras and actors). It was not a cheaply made film, just not up to todays slick production values(it didn't age well). They did the color by DeLuxe and built every practical set on the various sound stages. So, I can see the problem: they think that in 1972 people believed you could go into space in silver motorcycle helmets! From there, they should fire the props dept. for those spacesuits too. eewww See more

Jun 20, 2020 A goofy old sci-fi flick worthy of lampooning. I guess it's a good thing then that I watched it with Elvira hosting. See more
