It is really one of my favorite movies to just watch and relax and feel good. It’s also my daughter’s favorite all time movie. It’s just a simple story of a small harbor. See more Tracey A @RT98133858 07/08/2024 [SPOILERS] I was really looking forward to watching this film because of the local Canadian actors and the lead, Brendan Gleeson, who it is always a great joy to watch in all his roles. The movie tries to be a feel-good movie about a town of loveable quirky characters, but it ends up being about a bunch of self-interested horrible people trying to ensnare a hapless doctor. We're about 4/5 of the way through and it's cringeworthy all the way so far. I feel so bad for the doctor. Not sure we want to finish it even though we're so close to the end.
