Oct 27, 2019 Very B movie but as almost goofy as the fights played out I couldn't help but think "this is probably what a real fight between a nth degree blackbelt and a street thug with a knife would look like." What made it so memorable for me was the information. I have a 5 year old with autism and have read for hours about it. But this movie taught me a lot. See more

Nov 12, 2017 A complete ripoff of Karate Kid, even has a Martin Kove cameo. Only, this time the boy is autistic, and the fighting is MMA instead of karate. The acting is terrible, except from the actor who plays the autistic savant, who should have been the star. Instead, they made the mentor the star, and his acting was atrocious. They pull Anthony (the boy) from the final fight so that the two fighting teachers can battle out their issues from 20+ years ago. And it wasn't exciting. And the boy gets cast aside. The whole time, I thought the main character, who, again, shouldn't have been, maybe wrote or directed the movie. He didn't, so who knows who was responsible for organizing the characters. The love story was a joke, the backstory of the cop (Anthony's mentor) was irrelevant, the mentors were idiots and their feud stupid, the divorcee-to-be wasn't needed in the slightest, the attorney-turned-dojo-master-bad-guy was a worthless touch. Just way too much going on here. Just stick to a story about an autistic savant who turns to MMA fighting to engage in some activity, and leave it at that. I mean, come on, at least let him have his fight that he trained so hard for. Ugh! See more
