The Knot finds a bumbling groomsman fishing for silver wedding bands in a diarrhea-filled toilet bowl. Viewers searching for moments of wit or insight ... might relate. Go to Full Review Derek Malcolm London Evening Standard Oct 5, 2012

Almost everything is reduced to gross-out moments that are about as funny as a yak's poo so that when love conquers all in the end you don't believe it for a moment. Go to Full Review Peter Bradshaw Guardian Oct 4, 2012

There are some gross-out toilet moments that I suspect are inspired by the recent US hit Bridesmaids, but that movie had laughs and a lot of heart. The Knot, sadly, has neither. Go to Full Review Jason Best Movie Talk Dec 6, 2020
Truly dire wedding comedy The Knot represents an all-time low in Noel Clarke's distinctly patchy big-screen career. Go to Full Review Daniel Green CineVue Feb 5, 2019

The film falls almost entirely flat on its face at every turn, the only saving grace being its mercifully short 92 minute runtime. Go to Full Review Rich Cline Contactmusic.com Oct 8, 2012

Clearly intent on being a British Hangover/Bridesmaids hybrid, this comedy romp doesn't contain a single laugh. It doesn't help that all of the characters are deeply unlikeable, or that the humour is literally centred in the toilet. Go to Full Review Read all reviews

Dec 5, 2015 An interesting concept poorly executed and squandered. Shame as this could have been good. See more Sep 11, 2014 Funny movie ð???ð??? See more Sep 4, 2014 This has a few too many pranks and problems to be realistic, but it is still good for a laugh and a happily-ever-after story. See more inta k @intuciic Aug 18, 2014 nice thoughts about why to marry another person.. See more Jul 1, 2014 It wasn't horrible, but nothing special either. I guess I am bored with wedding movies and though the cover compares it to Bridesmaids, it's nowhere near as funny. Cast are mostly okay, though a few are horrible. Has the feel of a low budget movie. The only "star" was Mena Suvari, and she's out of place as an american in this English movie. Though I intended to switch it off several times, it somehow didn't happen, so I did watch all of it. I can't honestly say if I am glad I did or not, but I guess it had a few moments mixed in there! Probably the gross out stuff, such as the bride on the toilet, could have been omitted. See more Feb 5, 2014 Just not funny. Nothing new here. See more Read all reviews
