In 1933 a boy discovers an ancient Native American in a sideshow carnival tent. The Indian is Tonto (Johnny Depp), the old companion of John Reid (Armie Hammer), a lawman more famously known as the Lone Ranger. With this opportunity to set the record straight about his and Reid's adventures, Tonto recalls the day in 1869 when he first encountered the man who would be his trusted friend and tells of their teamwork bringing down Butch Cavendish (William Fichtner) and other Old West outlaws.

Obviously the writer in the director never watched the original series. If you want to make this iconic hero for the time and make it a spoof, then say Lone Ranger spoof and run with it. Otherwise this is just a disrespect to the original series. The worst part about the movie is the last scene where the Lone Ranger says Hiiyo silver, Tonto says don't ever do that again. What the hell is that? So all of the people who have actually watched the series and all the kids that grew up watching it and running around their backyard copying their superhero and saying hiyp silver, now you're calling them all stupid. It's ridiculous do better.

The Lone Ranger (2013) It's a very interesting film to watch, it has action, a beautiful Wild West setting, and a great soundtrack. Only the script is quite confusing at times.

The Lone Ranger movie follows John Reid, a lawyer on an adventure through the Wild West with an unexpected partner, Tonto. The two work together, fighting criminals and bringing justice to the land. Throughout this story, the theme of justice is very prominent. We can see this in multiple points in the story, including the train scene, where, even though the criminals were getting away. In the chief scene. John, trying to negotiate with the chief and following Tonto’s example, speaks in very easy-to-understand English, explaining that he’s the spirit walker and can save their tribe. The chief finds this hilarious and laughs out loud with the rest of the people in the teepee. This contradicts the common stereotype that Indigenous people are always stoic.

The opening can do better, don't drag it. The middle part is okay, the action scene in the end is perfect. Basically need more work on the story and everything is fine.
