m t @RT22923796 Jun 14, 2025 Pacing is so slow. Editing is choppy. Audio is terribly done, the background music is way too loud and high bass for behind speaking parts. directors/team in the interview rooms clearly did not do a good job of directing the people being interviewed in a way to make their stories more engaging. Two boomers on a couch having a back and forth account of an event 40+ year event. The re-enactments are high budget sets with low budget and tacky acting. I completely faded from interest less than 15 minutes in qnd finally turned it off when it didn’t get better by 30 mins. Not recommended unless you’re a hardcore DB cooper enthusiast . It was very underwhelming & the production value was amateur at best by a non-amateur production company on a mediocre topic See more

stephen b @RT02381805 Nov 20, 2022 Intriguing. Not because you walk away with a better idea of who DB Cooper might have been. But as an exploration of the profiles of various people who are sure they knew the real man. See more

Jul 25, 2022 Just a bunch of obsessed conspiracy theorists banded together and made a "documentary" and no actual evidence of who D.B Cooper actually is. See more

Feb 4, 2021 This is the kind of disappointment that passes for 'documentaries' these days. There are FAR better documentaries out there - even on youtube from free sources. Remember when 60 minutes would actually verify facts and spend months digging and refuting claims? Yeah - we don't do that anymore. Very little time is spent on actual data, factual reconstruction, and careful analysis - but spends 90% of it's time looking into multiple possible D.B. Cooper suspects by simply reporting 2nd and 3rd hand opinions. They didn't even do a decent job digging into those claims. TV shows I watched did better jobs in 30 minutes. Fun to leave running in the background while cleaning the house, but not much more. See more

scott e @smestes49 Jan 30, 2021 Obviously, you don't get any closure, and that's not ideal. But there's some really interesting theories here. See more

Dec 13, 2020 One of the best documentaries I've ever seen. There's a great balance of old footage and fresh film and they entwine it masterfully to bring the story to life and take you on the mysterious adventure of the search for D.B. Cooper. Of course the case has never been solved, but they manage to make you feel satisfied at the end although you don't have any answers and likely never will. .... They begin by telling the tale of the highjacking, through interviews with the airline staff and passengers, both current and televised interviews from back when it happened. They stick to the facts of what happened but it's quite intense and intriguing. .... They then start getting into the different suspects and go through two rounds of interviews with the family, friends, investigators and researchers who explain why they believe this specific man was D.B. Cooper. They're all fairly credible as they certainly believe their own stories and reasons and most are seemingly rational individuals - the "proof" they have for their respective suspects is pretty compelling. The second round of interviews fleshes it all out a bit more and adds more weight to each of their stories. .... It's a fun and more lighthearted mystery than most whodunnits since no one was injured or killed in this crime and so many people could have been D.B. See more
