In the action-comedy The Pickup, a routine cash pickup takes a wild turn when two mismatched armored truck drivers, Russell (Eddie Murphy) and Travis (Pete Davidson), are ambushed by ruthless criminals led by a savvy mastermind, Zoe (Keke Palmer), with plans that go way beyond the cash cargo. The Pickup feels like both an uninspired Eddie Murphy comedy and a lackluster effort to give a Saturday Night Live star a featured vehicle. More than anything, it's a waste of a premise that could have made for a decent buddy comedy.

This was an absolutely horrible film. Eddie Murphy, being the icon that he is, had some of the worst acting in the movie. It was almost like he didn’t want to be there. Pete Davidson and Keke Palmer tried their best but with that terrible plot and storyline…even that couldn’t save it. Just an unfunny film. Man. Don’t waste your time.
