This was a huge flop and a massive letdown in terms of both the franchise and the fan base, but if you watch it for what it is, it can be a fun movie. There’s not much to say about the decorum of the movie, but the acting was fun, I think the characters had good chemistry, and the half–military comedy also added some good flavour. Other than that, the idea that this autistic kid is some super genius which just happens to figure out alien technology is a bit of a cop out and a cheap shot. That being said, I think this is still a fun watch. At least once. Due aspetti sono i più negativi, sicuramente la piattezza dei personaggi secondari che sono di fatto delle pedine sacrificali nel survival movie; e la totale assenza di uno sviluppo nella grande trama della saga, che resta totalmente carente e ferma a pochi elementi cardine già mostrati nel passato. The costume designs - predators always have good designs. They are intricately designed. From their helmets, gauntlets and then even down to their hair type and feet. The bad - the acting. Sterling Brown - the antagonist, was bad. Olivia Munns character had some really pointless dialogue and bad jokes. The writers squeezed in throwback scripting from the original predator and you get the Baxley/Coyle relationship similar to the Mac/Blaine relationship. They needed to make this movie stand on its own and it failed. It was such an eye roll to hear so may references. I’ll be fine not watching it again.
