Garry A @heavyg Jun 4, 2026 If bugs creep you out, this is not the movie to watch. It is a little disgusting. The storyline itself is good. See more

Jairus R @kaaku808 Mar 22, 2026 As Logan D mentioned, the utter lack of internal logic plunged me into such a disappointing mood throughout the exposition and I am not sure if it was the good cinematography or the fact that I want to cheer on my fellow southeast asians that kept me going. Practically every single choice that was made by a character in the first 45 minutes of the movie was inherently, and even in execution, done with such lack of thought that it broke all sense of realness, even by horror movie standards. I am glad that I stayed for the ending, though, as it was the best part in revealing the painful themes of intergenerational trauma and how its perpetuation buries truth. The twist was conventional in nature but executed nicely, and SFX were great and gory in typical Indonesian fashion. See more

BigD J @Jerminator Jul 14, 2025 Pretty solid Indonesian flic. Fun gore factor, decent creep factor, nice lighting and camera angles. Not bad at all, worth a watch. Dragged on a bit. Looks to be loosely a remake of 1981 film of the same name, which imma have to check out now. Old school Indonesian films are absolutely bonkers and great fun. See more

Logan D @Greynomad38 Mar 31, 2025 Adults raised in the same orphanage reunite at their former home to pay respects to the director who is now deathly ill. Secrets are exposed. The only connection this has to the 1981 film is the name of the main character, Murni. Whereas in the earlier film she was the protagonist, here she is mainly in the background. I find it hard to believe this dull bore has a 91% on RT. It has a plot that suffers from a lack of internal logic and little of the story offers original material let alone thrills. See more

Scott M @RT46449324 Mar 25, 2025 Not quite the deeply psychological horror I was hoping for, but nonetheless a very competent, entertaining, and exceptionally vicious movie worth watching, especially if you like shocking, gruesome horror. See more
