Kevin P @RT55971421 6 hrs ago One the most unintentionally funny horror movies ever made. It is the epitome of "So bad it's good". This is Nicholas Cage at his most iconic "Nic Cage Freakout" moments. There are so many unintentionally funny lines and moments. The unintentional comedic timing from Nicholas Cage and the direction is gut busting hilarious for all the wrong reasons. The laughably terrible acting is carried on shoulders by Nicholas Cage hamming it up to the extreme and all of the villagers messing with him like this murder scheme is just a juvenile schoolyard prank. There are so many plot holes and genuinely bad detective work that will make you constantly scratch your head. The film is also comedically sexist to an absurd degree. But it's done in such a bizarre and funny way. On paper, it's a really dumb and poorly executed movie. But onscreen, those flaws curve around the horseshoe and gave us one of the most infamous and belovedly memed "So bad it's good" movies of all time.
