Gonna dust it off in a few years for another replay. See more Ryan T @RT91888008 Oct 10, 2026 Great thriller with a great cast! An awesome story idea that makes you wonder. What would you do if you couldn't get hurt? See more Holly M @RT22345383 Sep 28, 2026 High quality entertainment! See more B S @JamaicanMeVeryAngry Sep 3, 2026 ***(SPOILER ALERT!)*** Shyamalan somehow manages to twist the traditional superhero movie concept into an original piece that centres more around the denial and quiet sacrifices a hero makes in his personal life rather than the usual "good guy vs bad guy" scheme or "good guy sacrifices self to defeat evil" concept. This film perfectly captures the heavy weight of responsibility as Bruce Willis' character constantly refutes the fact that he has powers just to keep his wife happy and his son safe. Defying the traditional superhero movie stereotypes, Unbreakable manages to be a hero film with only about 10 minutes of actual crime fighting, showing that at the core of a hero's powers are good morals and bravery, which in a comforting, subtle message, inspires us all to be the same way. Pile this on top of great pacing, greater acting and an even greater twist at the end of the film, and you have one of the best superhero flicks ever filmed. See more Bret M. @BretM-3 Mar 14, 2026 SPOILER ALERT!! Unbreakable is a movie that perfectly blends the comic book/superhero genre with the thriller/suspense genre. As a fan of both, I really enjoyed this movie. Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson are amazing in this movie. Samuel is a standout, though. In particular, the scene where he falls down the stairs is heartbreaking and can kinda hurt to watch. The plot is very good. Discovering David's ability and weakness as the characters do is fun and makes the story more immersive. The twist at the end where we learn what Mr. Glass has been doing is really great. This movie also has very good cinematography, in particular the scene in the pool is shot very well. There isn't a whole lot of horror elements, but the 1 jumpscare still gets me! Overall, Unbreakable is an amazing film that blends 2 really cool genres in ways that make sense and work. Really good movie that you should watch if you like one or both of the genres in this movie. See more Glory K @Ms.Glory Feb 23, 2026 A moody slow-burn that's worth the wait. And in an era over-saturated with shiny superhero six-pack bravado, this was grounded and psychologically satisfying.
