If it had lived up to its golden first five minutes, Up would have been the film of the decade. As it is, it remains the best animated flick of 2009, a funny, moving, beautifully made argument that dreamers can move mountains.

honestly it’s been a longgggg time since i’ve watched this. it was really good. dang i did not expect to cry as much as i do though. the beginning it was showing a girl and guy and i thought it was the russell then i was like wait don’t tell that is actually the ellie and carl. it was such a sweet movie. i also recently watched hoppers and those dog collars was definitely on that board in hoppers so im sure its connected somewhere in the multiverse. anyways what a good movie, saving the bird, and starting a new adventure. don’t be afraid of letting go and starting a new one.

Pixar’s boasted animated masterpieces are spectacularly based then secondarily thematic by branded integrities with stirred emotional engagement in between. This commemoratively honor the journey that unexpectedly captured the shorts’ whimsicality under expressive efficiency in the beginning seeding a gradual blossom under a beautiful shine through a similar darkness. Simply put, this is one of Pixar’s most sophisticated storytelling with humane imagination that guarantee infectious resonance in empathizing with Asner’s layered brilliance in soulfully emitting expected charm whilst instilling necessary circumstantial emotions and mesmerized by the gorgeously astonishing animation for the adventurous palpability. (A)
