Clarissa V @RT07139913 Aug 11 I absolutely love *Vampire Academy*. ❤️ I can come back to this movie years later and still enjoy it just as much as I did the first time I watched it. There’s something about the characters, the friendships, the world, and the overall atmosphere that makes it so rewatchable. Zoey Deutch was absolutely fantastic as Rose, and the entire cast brought so much personality to their roles. I genuinely wish we could have gotten a sequel — and honestly, I would even love a prequel exploring more of the world and its characters. It’s such a shame that the story never got the chance to continue. I know the movie wasn't perfect, but it has so much charm and a very loyal fanbase. I still hope that someday, somehow, we get to see more of *Vampire Academy* again. Until then, I'll happily keep rewatching this movie. 🧛‍♀️❤️ Please give us more *Vampire Academy* someday! See more Sim S @RT30179092 Aug 8 I’ve never understood why this film didn’t do well, and the sequel(s) didn’t go forward. I watched it before reading all the books, but found the movie to be pretty spot on when it came to the source material. I also felt the casting as pretty much spot on. Everyone was exactly how I pictured them in my books. Especially Rose. This is one of my favourite "chuck it on movies" and often rewatch in bed or when I’m having a sick day. It’s a great film. Witty. Action packed. There’s probably the odd bit of dialogue I could do without because it verges on cringe or some telling rather than showing (particularly at the start with Lissa explaining how they’ve been on the run etc and the dreams). I was pleasantly surprised at this film with how close to the source material it stayed true to, aside from the pace and tone. Just watched it again as an adult and I'm sad all over again that the entire series never got fully adapted. Zoey Deutch was the PERFECT Rose. This one will always hold a special place in book-to-film adaptations for me. One of the few I felt was done better than most I've seen these days. See more @RT54662279 Jun 3 虽然是今年才看到这部电影，唉真的好后悔为什么没有早点发现这么优秀的电影！！！但是我想说它真的拍的棒极了，首先是选角，电影中的每一个选角都特别贴合原著，非常符合原著形象，作为看过原著小说的读者，我想说这部电影的选角真的特别特别成功。其次是剧情，我在阅读小说的同时观看了这部电影，不难发现电影改编自小说的第一册，但是它很好的保留了原著的主要内容，让每一个人物塑造都和小说中的形象贴切，而且剧情节奏也很好，并没有背离原著。还有画面和布景，不管是内景还是外景，都能看出摄制组的用心和态度。演员的台词也写的很细腻，每一位演员的台词都能鲜明地反映出人物形象，奇幻的同时有些小幽默，节奏把控好的非常好诶。最后要感谢演员们的付出，导演编剧摄制组，整个剧组的努力，我真的想不通还原度这么高的电影为什么反响不好，可能是第一册书并不是高潮，没办法吸引观众的眼球吗？可以说我这辈子最大的遗憾就是再也看不到原班人马拍摄续集了，它完全值得拍成一系列电影，不逊于暮光之城！ See more Carli B. @carliburchett May 19 I love this movie.
