In Sony Pictures Animation's Wish Dragon, Din, a working-class college student with big dreams but small means, and Long, a cynical but all-powerful dragon capable of granting wishes, set off on a hilarious adventure through modern day Shanghai in pursuit of Din's long-lost childhood friend, Lina. I thought Wish Dragon was a really enjoyable watch. It has a familiar premise, but it still manages to feel heartfelt and entertaining. The animation is colorful and lively, and the film does a good job of mixing humor with emotional moments. What I liked most was the message about appreciating what you already have instead of chasing unrealistic wishes. The friendship at the center of the story feels genuine, and it gives the movie a lot of charm. It may not be the most original story, but it’s executed well enough to stand out. Overall, I’d give it a 7/10—it’s a fun, feel-good movie with a solid message and plenty of heart.

If Aladdin was Chinese he would be Din… just watch Aladdin bruh it’s exactly the same. He wants to rizz the huzz and finds a genie thingy and gets granted 3 wishes. Dramatic backstory. Plot twist. Yada yada yada and the genie is free.
