It has compelling actors/performances for the most part, shocking twists, good action, and a unique plot! I really enjoy this movie every time I watch it! Flawed, yes, such as with the handling of Denise Richards' Bond Girl (and yet, I don't think she's the worst token American Bond Girl in the franchise *cough* Bibi Dahl *cough*) and the sillier moments (007's "HUH?" comes to mind). Still had fun with it thanks to Pierce Brosnan's performance, great action sequences with the "Helicopter Saw" setpiece standing out, a twist that adds a little variety to the 007 proceedings and some solid funny moments such as when a henchman ruins Bond's one-liner. TWINE is not as great as it could've been thanks to some questionable decisions and having to stick with a formula before the Daniel Craig era shook things up big time, but it's still a fun action/spy flick in its own right.
