Students Hayley and James are young and in love. After saying goodbye for Christmas at a London train station, they both make the same mad split-second decision to swap trains and surprise each other. Passing each other in the station, they are completely unaware that they have just swapped Christmases. Hayley arrives at a vast mansion in a small village in the Gloucester countryside to find a place where Christmas does not exist, whilst James heads north to a small semi-detached in Macclesfield and steps into the warm and chaotic pandemonium that only a large family Christmas can bring. When the entire country is blanketed in the biggest snowfall on record, our star-crossed lovers are trapped at the most manic time of the year. Christmas traditions are turned on their head, secrets are revealed, and family truths are told with hilarious consequences. The couple realize that there is an awful lot they don't know about each other. Will they be able to swap back in time for Christmas Day? And will Hayley and James' fledgling relationship make it through to the New Year?

Your Christmas or Mine is in many ways a typical comedy of errors with a festive bent, but the casting throughout the whole ensemble is dead on and even if the supporting characters are familiar tropes, they’re appealing ones.

A hackneyed grab-bag of sitcom cliches that ends up feeling more like tired pantomime.

A perfectly amiable outing that generates enough warmth to warrant a watch, and it’s probably a touch less annoying than your average Hallmark Xmas slop.

A joyous film that doesn’t reinvent the holiday rom-com. But it's worth watching this 95-minute film to stir up the magical Christmas spirit.

Actually, not too bad a movie. Plenty worse recent Christmas movies going around. Very cheesy, but it's a Christmas movie, after all.

Asa Butterfield seems out of place with his role but still manages to make me smile whenever he talks. The story has a repetitive sequence of events but the writing and heartfelt "meaning of Christmas" somewhat makes up for It. I really enjoyed the dynamic between the characters, especially James and Geoff. Still, the ending seems clanky and a little rushed but the solid performances blind it from what It's missing.

Although charming at times, this movie is overstuffed with Christmas cliches and contrivances while often stepping over the line to unbearably corny

🍅 6.2/10 This is a fun little Christmas movie that has some really stupid moments but to be honest, I don't really care it got me in the Christmas mood and I had a good time watching this with my family. Grade B

Very cute and funny movie. I loved it….only critique is it was not believable the main actors were 21yo. But they had parents looking like they were in there 60s so whatever

In the sea of Hallmark/Lifetime-style Christmas movies that are plastered across streaming services, this one (not made by either) is a good view.
