A little too much slapstick, and aside from the main actors, the other lesser knowns were over done, not funny (bridesmaids) Other than that, it was an ok movie

Very predictable, with weak and poorly executed twists. The supporting performances were disappointing, and the whole experience felt painfully confusing rather than engaging. A tedious watch that I barely managed to get through.

Comedy in a time of tidal wave of thrillers and horrors is itself a bold investment, especially with the weight of Ron Burgundy's legacy. But this tale of wedding venue war dares to revive that fun pickle of extended family. This story really takes off close to intermission with its wild twists and dark comedy. The gesture of shared venues as unlikely and ridiculous as it seems is a very sweet way of reminding people to be happy for others' happy moments. Great work by the cast each pitching in their bits of jest with Will at the helm. Music was uplifting and groovy. Set-up was scenic and visuals were vibrant just like the plot you'll most certainly enjoy.

Right up there in my top 10 "dumb comedies" of all time. It’s like a Shakespearean comedy/romance intertwined with the best of Will Ferrell. If you’re looking for a feel good belly laugh slapstick watch that will make you cringe in a good way, this is it!
