Apr 27, 2011 In a world where some zombies are domesticated, an evil genius creates new, improved killer zombies, and it is up to a group of spandex-clad masked hero wrestlers to get together to pummel the undead hoardes. Don't let the title of this movie mislead you, when you actually watch it, the title "Zombie King And The Legion Of Doom" is used, which I think should have been kept. This is probably one of the weirdest films that I have seen recently, and writing a review is going to prove a bit of a challenge. With a plot that is as mad as it gets and the low budget style this movie reminded me of the great 'mondo' movies from the 50's. The acting is ultra cheesy, and not being able to see a majority of the main cast's faces just adds to the campness. The basic story is nothing new, but the addition of the mad comic book characters and random wrestling, all set in a beach front setting really made this fun to watch. The gore is quite frequent and though low tech you can never grow tired of seeing heads being ripped off. I think this is one of those movies that you will either love or hate. I am definately in the 'loved it' camp, and I recommend you give it a try if you like something a little different. See more

Aug 25, 2010 Masked wrestlers fighting zombies, how could I resist? But you know what? It's actually not too bad in an over the top, cartoony kind of way. Plus it's got a nice little cameo by Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, which was kinda cool. See more

Apr 14, 2010 This is one of those rare occurances that I had to actually take this one out and not finish it due to multiple reasons. Extremely cheap looking with acting to match did however have some fine ladies, but I don't think it could be salvaged from the crapper! See more

Aug 10, 2009 Jim Neidhart + Zombies + Lucha Libre = Lots of fun. Oh, add.. Gore + Many many titties and this makes me a happy, happy person. Getting into the plot is really a lost cause in this one. A bunch of Mexican wrestlers, or luche libre, try to find who's responsible for a series of deaths in a nearby forest.. and it's a Zombie movie, duh. See this for the reasons I mentioned in the beginning of this review. 'tis a recipe for fun, a good time and, for some strange reason, brownies. See more

Aug 2, 2009 I bought (don't do that!) this shit under the title "Zombie King and the Legion of Doom". I got sucked in by the cool artwork and the fact it was about wrestlers fighting zombies. What's not to like? Well... A LOT! This was terrible in every way. I know it's supposed to be a low-budget "cult" movie but that fact is beyond me. Plot, acting, dialogue, effects are all horribly bad (and not in a so-bad-it's-actually-good way). Only positive thing about this movie is the music... So watch the grass grow instead. it's just as entertaining! See more
