It's difficult to conjure... excitement for a mess like "A Little Chaos," a lazy and off-puttingly anachronistic feminist fantasy about an 18th-century female landscape designer who finds love while creating... one of the grandest spaces in Versailles.

I found this movie to be quite rewarding. It certainly brought attention to the most gorgeous gardens at Versailles, and was fun to see the period costumes. Especially when they take off those ridiculous wigs!!!

This is a cosy, easygoing, lighthearted movie, with beautiful garden scenery based in the 17th century about a Professional woman who is a landscape architect, which is not something they are used to in that time.

Anything remotely resembling wit would have been nice, especially considering it's already a made-up story. To waste WInslet's considerable talents on something so boring is unforgivable.

This moving is engaging and delightful. I've watched it at least five times and enjoyed it each time. I love a good romantic time period piece, and, of course, Kate Winslet always delights. It might be a little slow for some, but if you like these kind of movies, the pace won't bother you. Our heroines affair could be problematic without the understanding of her lovers prior marital arrangement. So for that reason, and for this time period it's set in, her love story is acceptable.
