On assignment in war-torn Europe, Navy SEALs discover gold at the bottom of a lake -- a fortune rumored to be worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Hoping to help the locals, the soldiers go rogue and engineer a plan to recover the treasure and return it to its rightful owners. It's B-movie neophytes trying to sell a slick, but hollow scenario for a high-concept genre hybrid. American Renegades might look good on paper, but it's pretty tiresome on the screen.

I generally enjoyed it. Was it Saving Pvt Ryan, Apocalypse Now, Platoon or Full Metal Jacket - No but it was still pretty decent. Watch if there's nothing else on.

I've a bad habit -usually once I start watching a movie, no matter what, I'll watch till the end. At the end of this movie, I had to ask myself - Why did you watch this?! 🤢 This is an exasperating farrago of gazillion movies that we have been watching since a long long time! My floccinaucinihilipilification.

If you would give a war movie 1 star because of its lack of a feminine presence, then this isn’t your type of movie. But if you can put your idealistic opinions aside, and just sit back and watch a movie, you’re probably going to enjoy it.
