Young delivers James Bond’s first film as an intriguing espionage thriller with missing people and files. Young’s direction is engaging, action packed, and detail oriented. He pulls off Bond setting up traps, a chauffeur car chase, hearse chase, Bond making love, and Bond investigating. Sean Connery is perfect for MI6 spy James Bond. He’s ruggedly handsome, effortlessly suave, amiably charming, easily funny, brilliantly cool, and a deft spy. Connery’s sheer charisma makes Bond so likable and engaging. He pulls off seeking spy clues that hint at the truth of Dr. No and sleeping with every woman Bone encounters. No other actor has ever truly embodied James Bond so aptly. Swiss actress Ursula Andress is shockingly beautiful as Honey Ryder. Her seashell diving Bond Girl is immediately charming, funny, and gorgeous.
